Too often people take a group class without realising what they’re really doing is Pilates; an imitation of someone else.

Yoga is about you allowing time to notice who you are to yourself, who you are in your community. It’s a meticulous study of character development that happens to include physical movement and breathwork - movement to keep the body healthy and shed residual energy, breathwork to calm the nervous system, all to clear a path for the mind to become aware of our true selves. That is the practice, not the grandstanding.

In this safe space, your comfort is the priority – from the heated floor to the Shikibuton mattress, in tranquil silence or floating harmonies, from the gentle practice cocooned by soft blankets to the calming cup of tea afterwards enjoyed indoors or on the secluded bench outside.
